​Yoko Gwen Halbwidl is an artist from Vienna.

Before studying fine arts in the classes of Sculpture and Installation and Performative Art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, she studied Art and Architecture in the same University.

Her practice moves in between different media, being influenced by her background in architecture and her work in theater and scenography, exploring tipping points and transgressions of boundaries between identities, spaces and social realities.

The origin of her creative practice lies in her fascination with spaces and their inscribed orders that affect us.
